Tareeq Ul Shifa Foundation is a non-profit startup founded on the belief that healthcare is a basic human right, not a privilege. Through the responsible and transparent allocation of zakat donations, the foundation aims to support individuals who are unable to afford the medical treatments they urgently need.

Vision:

To introduce Zakat as a viable tool for economic and social change

Mission:

• Utilize zakat funds to finance medical costs for zakat eligible patients.
• Create an umbrella corp. Non profit with subsidiaries each working in separate localities with separate functions. All subsidiaries working under criteria and guidelines set forth by the Tareeq Ul Shifa foundation. 

Tareeq Ul Shifa Health Project

The Tareeq Ul Shifa Health Project works to support children and families who are suffering from blood disorders. These illnesses are difficult to manage and bring not only health problems but also emotional stress and financial pressure, especially for families with limited income.

To make sure help reaches the people who need it the most, the foundation uses a system called the Tushifa Eligibility Algorithm. This is a clear and fair method that checks each applicant’s medical condition, financial situation, social background, and zakat eligibility. This helps ensure that assistance goes only to those who truly qualify.

Once the evaluation is complete, eligible patients receive essential and life-saving medicines. In the future, the project aims to expand and offer more types of healthcare support. For now, the main focus is to make sure patients with blood disorders receive regular and reliable access to the treatments they need.

The foundation’s core belief is simple: Healthcare should be a right, not a privilege, especially for people who are most vulnerable.

Tareeq Ul Shifa Pharmacy – Supporting the Mission

Tareeq Ul Shifa Pharmacy is an independent entity and is not part of the Tareeq Ul Shifa Foundation. However, the pharmacy voluntarily supports the humanitarian work of the foundation.

A portion of every purchase made at Tareeq Ul Shifa Pharmacy is donated to the foundation’s initiatives. Each contribution helps finance essential medical treatments for patients who cannot afford them. Through this support, regular pharmacy purchases become meaningful acts of assistance that help reduce financial burdens and bring hope to families facing severe health challenges.

This collaborative model strengthens the foundation’s mission by creating a sustainable flow of support for vulnerable patients
